Designing to the Edges: Inclusive Classrooms Using UDL for Learners With Significant Disabilities ( BYOD; Additional fee required)

Log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Access to the general education curriculum is a central tenet of Universal Design for Learning (UDL). Often this can be achieved through pairing UDL principles with assistive technologies. This workshop will explore inclusion of our students with significant disabilities through a design thinking approach. Participants will look at barriers and design a classroom that teaches to the edges. Participants will leave with tools and strategies they can implement immediately in their own classes.
