This session is for participants to review and reflect on the current state of research on UDL, and identify a set of critical research questions and methodologies that provide empirical support for understanding the UDL framework and its implementation. Participants will engage in discussion to include current research efforts, research designs, potential environments, and issues surrounding moving research efforts forward on the UDL framework.
The purpose of this Pre-Conference Event is to bring together individuals engaged in various facets of research affiliated with the UDL Framework.
During the pre-conference session, attendees will participate in:
- Prioritization of key topics related to the future of UDL Research
- Creation of working groups
- Working group and full group discussion of key topics
- Defining working group next steps (e.g., development of white papers, participating in webinars)
