Teach For All
Director, Learner Centered Practice
Rachel Brody is the Director of Learner Centered Practice at Teach For All, where she learns with organizations around the world who are working to put students on a path toward self-determined broader outcomes.  Prior to joining the team at Teach For All, Rachel led the Diverse Learner Initiative at Teach  For America and taught in Washington, DC. She found her “teaching home” at DC Bilingual Public charter school where she taught 4th grade and supported teachers as an Instructional Coach while teaching courses for The Center for Inspired Teaching.  Rachel has a deep passion for bilingual education, Universal Design for Learning, and culturally responsive pedagogy which informs her work across schools and education non-profits.  Rachel lives in Seattle, WA and is currently spending most of her free time learning how to keep her boat (home) afloat, rock climbing, and playing with her (MOST adorable) 2 year old nephew.
